Fried Chocolate Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. packed biscuit mix
    1/3 c. milk plus 2 Tbsp.
    cooking oil for frying
    sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    In a pan, combine sugar, flour and cocoa.
    Stir in 1 cup milk and butter.
    Cook and stir until bubbly.
    Cook 1 minute more.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Cool.
    Combine biscuit mix and 1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk.
    On floured surface, roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness.
    Cut 20 (4-inch) circles.
    Place 1 tablespoon filling in center of each circle.
    Fold over and press with fork.
    Fry in oil until brown.
    Cool.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
