Pork Chops And Apple In Wine Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 pork chops
6 apple slices, 1/3-inch thick
1/2 c. Burgundy or Claret wine
2 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
Preparation

Arrange pork chops in shallow baking pan.
Season with salt and pepper.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven until brown on both sides.
Place apple slices on chops and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Reduce oven to 350\u00b0.
Pour 1/4 cup wine over chops and apple slices.
Bake 10 minutes.
Add remaining wine and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer. Baste chops from time to time with sauce in baking pan.
