Christmas Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. creamery butter
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    1 1/2 c. English walnuts
    1 lb. candied cherries, halved
    4 oz. can flaked coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add flour and vanilla.
    Stir in cherries, coconut and nuts.
    Grease a tube pan and line bottom with brown paper.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
