Marshmallow Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 egg whites
Preparation

In heavy saucepan, combine sugar and water.
Bring to a boil until sugar is melted.
In medium bowl, beat 2 egg whites and salt until foamy.
Fold in sugar mixture.
Then add cream of tartar and beat until soft peaks form when beater is lifted upright.
Then add vanilla and corn syrup.
Beat for 1 more minute.
Makes enough for 2 layer cakes.
