Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
    1/2 c. light brown sugar, well packed
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans plus 2 Tbsp. for garnish, divided
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 (325\u00b0 if using glass pie plate).
    In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.
    Add flour, chocolate chips and 1 cup pecans and mix thoroughly.
    Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle 2 tablespoons pecans in a circle on top.
    Bake one hour or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean, about 50 minutes at lower temperature and check before letting it bake longer.
    Makes 8 servings.
