Meat Loaf For Two - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 medium onion
    1/2 medium green pepper
    1 lb. round beef
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    3/4 tsp. celery salt
    1 Tbsp. catsup
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients.
    Cut 2 slices from onion; set aside, mince the rest.
    Add with next 6 ingredients to crumbs; blend.
    Shape into oval loaf on shallow pan.
    Gash part way through center, spread with catsup.
    Insert onion slices on top. Brush with salad oil.
    Bake in moderately hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
