Meringue Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
pinch of salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
half pkg. pitted dates
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff.
Gradually add powdered sugar, almond extract and salt. Fold in nuts and dates.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on buttered tin. Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until delicate brown.
