Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. water
3 to 3 1/2 c. sugar
13 tsp. Yuban instant coffee (or equivalent)
5 tsp. vanilla
1 qt. vodka

Preparation

Lightly boil water, sugar and coffee for 1 hour (do not boil over).
Let cool; add quart of vodka and vanilla.
Makes 1 quart plus one fifth.
