2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 c. self-rising flour
buttermilk
oil
Preparation

Add 1 Tbsp. oil to medium iron skillet and heat.
Mix meal and flour in mixing bowl.
Add buttermilk.
Stir thoroughly.
Pour excess hot oil from skillet into mixture and stir in.
Pour mixture into hot skillet and bake in 425\u00b0 oven until golden brown.
