Macaroni Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. spaghetti
    2 lb. Ricotta cheese
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla or almond flavor
    raisins or cherries, cut in half, drained and dry (optional)
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cook spaghetti.
    Drain and cut into 2-inch pieces.
    Beat together Ricotta, eggs, sugar and flavoring and add to spaghetti. Turn into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan (greased) and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    When cold can refrigerate.
    When serving, sprinkle confectioners sugar on top and cut in squares.
