South African Curry(Serves 4) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 onions, chopped
1/2 c. oil
4 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
2 1/4 Tbsp. vinegar
2 1/4 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. curry
2 lb. sauteed meat (any)
6 potatoes, peeled and quartered
2 c. frozen peas
Preparation

Fry onions in oil; add tomatoes and stir.
When it sticks, add vinegar, sugar and curry to create a sauce.
Blend sauce and set aside.
In a large covered skillet add meat, potatoes and frozen peas.
Add sauce, cover and simmer until potatoes are cooked. Serve with bowls of coconut, chutney, crushed pineapple and sliced bananas to garnish.
