Company'S Coming Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large pkg. lemon jello
3 c. hot water
1 can (1 c.) crushed pineapple (drain and reserve juice)
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
3 cubed bananas
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 pt. whipping cream
2 Tbsp. flour
sharp Cheddar cheese, grated

Preparation

Dissolve and cool water and gelatin.
Add drained pineapple, bananas and marshmallows.
Chill in large, flat dish.
Heat pineapple juice; add flour, sugar and egg.
Cook until thick and cool.
Fold into whipped cream.
Spread over gelatin mixture. Sprinkle grated cheese over mixture.
Refrigerate.
