Dish-In-One - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground meat
    1 can whole kernel corn, partly drained
    1 small onion, sliced thin
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    2 or 3 peeled, sliced fresh tomatoes
    3 to 4 slices white bread, torn into fair size pieces
    4 to 6 slices bacon, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces (enough to cover top of casserole)
Preparation
    Break ground meat into chunks and brown.
    Drain fat.
    Making one or two layers in a greased casserole, put meat, onion, green pepper, corn and tomato slices.
    Season with salt and pepper and garlic powder as you go along.
    When all ingredients are layered, cover the top of casserole with bread pieces and then lay bacon pieces on top of bread.
    (You can freeze or put in refrigerator at this point.)
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven until heated through and bacon is browned.
