Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1/3 c. boiling water
    1/3 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. minced onion, sauteed
    1 lb. hamburg
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. (scant) flour
    1/8 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water; pour over bread crumbs.
    Cover; let stand.
    Steam for 2 minutes.
    Add hamburg, egg, flour, onion and all seasonings; mix well.
    Make into small meatballs.
    Brown in small amount of shortening.
    Bake in covered casserole dish for 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
