Scallops In Wine Cheese Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. scallops
1/2 c. sherry wine
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. yogurt (plain)
1 oz. Cheddar cheese (1 slice)
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. melted butter (for bread crumbs)
Preparation

Put scallops in saucepan with wine, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
Drain, reserving 1 cup of broth.
Melt butter and blend in flour.
Add reserved broth and yogurt.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in cheese and scallops.
Put in 6 shells or shallow baking dish.
Top with buttered bread crumbs and bake in a hot 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
Low in calories.
