Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can Shoe Peg corn
    1 lb. can LeSueur peas
    1 lb. can French-cut green beans
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 medium size jar pimentos
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Drain all vegetables well.
    Heat sugar, vinegar, oil, water, salt and pepper.
    Heat to dissolve sugar.
    Let cool and pour over vegetables.
    Let marinate overnight before serving.
