Scottish Oat Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 c. quick oats
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt.
Combine butter, milk and egg and add to the dry ingredients.
Mix just until moistened.
Stir in raisins.
Shape the dough into a ball and pat it out into an 8-inch circle.
Cut into 8 wedges.
Place the wedges on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 425\u00b0.
