Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. cornmeal (self-rising)
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 heaping Tbsp. mayonnaise
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Melt 1 tablespoon shortening in large black iron skillet.
    Bake about 20 minutes, until brown on top.
