Ripe Tomato Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. ripe, peeled and chopped tomatoes
    3 c. chopped celery
    2 c. chopped onions
    1 or 2 chopped bell peppers
    1/4 c. salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    2 c. white granulated sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. pickling spices
Preparation
    Bring to a boil; simmer for 15 minutes.
    Pack and seal in hot jars.
