Microwave Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 to 1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1/2 head lettuce, torn in bite-size pieces
    2 medium tomatoes, cut in chunks
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1 c. broken corn chips
    sour cream (optional)
Preparation
    Brown meat and onions on High for 4 1/2 to 6 1/2 minutes. Stir, then drain.
    Add beans, water and taco seasoning.
    Cook, uncovered, for 10 to 13 minutes on Medium until thick and bubbly, stirring once.
    Combine lettuce, tomatoes and pepper in a salad bowl.
    Spoon meat mixture over vegetables in bowl.
    Top with cheeses and chips.
    Serve immediately with sauce.
    Top with sour cream.
