Pecan Pilaf(Mock Wild Rice) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 Tbsp. butter
1 c. pecans, chopped
1/2 c. grated onions
2 c. long grain rice
4 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
4 oz. can mushrooms
Preparation

Melt butter and saute onions five minutes.
Add rice, stirring until rice is coated with butter.
Add chicken broth and seasoning.
Cover, cook 18 to 20 minutes.
Stir in parsley and pecans.
Yields 12 servings.
