Down Home Chicken Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 c. slivered mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 tsp. crushed thyme
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 can chicken vegetable soup
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 c. diced cooked chicken
    1 c. corn
    1/2 c. tomatoes
    dash of salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp; remove from pan and crumble.
    Pour off all but 2 tablespoons fat.
    Brown mushrooms, then add onions and thyme and cook until tender.
    Add bacon and remaining ingredients. Heat, stirring occasionally.
    Serves 8.
