Lemon Chess Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. lemon cake mix
    1 egg
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    3 eggs
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Combine cake mix, 1 egg and melted butter.
    Pat into 13 x 9 x 2-inch lightly greased baking pan.
    Blend cream cheese, 3 eggs and confectioners sugar.
    Pour over unbaked cake layer.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Cool; cut into squares.
    These cookies brown quickly, therefore, check frequently to avoid burning.
