Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
6 eggs
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black walnut flavoring
1 c. black walnut meats, chopped
1 c. milk

Preparation

Cream together the sugar and Crisco shortening.
Add the eggs, beating after each one, the flour, soda, salt, walnut flavoring, black walnut meats and milk. Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
