Fruitcake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. candied mixed fruit
    1 c. white raisins
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. brandy
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. margarine, melted
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. plain flour, sifted
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Soak candied fruit and raisins in brandy for 48 hours.
    With a fork, beat eggs and sugar.
    Blend in butter, soda, spices and vanilla.
    Gently stir in flour, nuts and brandied fruit with remaining liquid.
    Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
