Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 oz. red food coloring
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. soda
    1/8 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Stir together cocoa, salt, flour and baking powder.
    Mix in separate bowl the vinegar and soda.
    Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, food coloring and vanilla.
    Add sifted ingredients and buttermilk; beat until smooth.
    Add vinegar and soda.
    Grease and flour 2 or 3 cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
