Mom'S Chicken Deluxe - cooking recipe

3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. butter
4 to 5 lb. chicken, cut into serving pieces
2 ripe tomatoes
1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
dash of ground pepper
1 medium onion, quartered
1/2 c. white wine or Madeira wine
2 Tbsp. chili sauce
1 glove garlic
Preparation

Heat oil and butter in large skillet and brown chicken. Meanwhile, put remaining ingredients into jar.
Cover.
Press the liquefy button for 20 seconds. Pour slowly over browned chicken. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, checking for seasoning as you cook.
Salt and pepper to taste.
