Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. very lean ground beef (ground London Broil is excellent and very low-fat)
    1/4 c. skim milk
    2 slices bread
    1 egg white
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. crushed thyme
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    2/3 can beef broth (soup)
    1/4 c. water
    pepper
    1/4 c. plain yogurt
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Soak bread in milk and combine with egg white.
    Mix in ground beef, salt, thyme and onion.
    Shape into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and bake for 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    (You may cool and freeze meatballs for later use.)
    Combine beef broth, water, ground pepper, yogurt and cornstarch in skillet.
    Heat until thick.
    Add meatballs and mushrooms, if desired.
    Cook until meatballs are heated through. Serve over rice.
    Serves 3.
