Chocolate Syrup Snacking Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, soft
    1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's chocolate syrup
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 x 1-inch).
    Beat margarine and sugar in large bowl.
    Beat in syrup, eggs and flour thoroughly.
    Stir in nuts.
    Next a true chocoholic will wish to stir in chocolate chips; these are optional.
    Pour in pan.
    Bake until toothpick comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Cool.
    Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
    Make 48 squares.
