Texas State Fair Grand Prize Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. light crust flour
    1 lb. butter or oleo
    9 eggs
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Use 2 bowls to mix this cake.
    In first bowl, mix together the flour and butter and work until it is creamy.
    In second bowl, mix eggs and sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
    Then mix the mixtures of the 2 bowls together, beating well.
    Add baking powder, salt, butter flavoring, lemon extract and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Pour into large tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour in 300\u00b0 oven.
    Increase to 325\u00b0 and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
