Buttermilk Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cut up chicken or pieces of choice
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Place chicken in a flat dish.
    Pour buttermilk over; cover and refrigerate one hour.
    Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bag. Drain chicken.
    Toss in flour mixture.
    Shake off excess; place on waxed paper 15 minutes.
    Heat 1/4 to 1/2 inch oil.
    Fry until brown and juices run clear.
