Linguine With Sweet Pepper Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. olive oil
    3 1/2 c. chopped sweet peppers
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 Tbsp. minced shallots
    3 cloves minced garlic
    1/4 c. chopped fresh basil or oregano
    1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1 tsp. honey
    8 oz. linguine, cooked
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a large skillet.
    Add the peppers, onions, shallots, garlic and basil or oregano.
    Cook on medium-low until vegetables are soft and wilted, about 20 minutes.
    Stir in the vinegar and honey.
    Toss 1/4 of the pepper sauce with the linguine.
    Divide the linguine between 4 plates.
    Top each serving with the remaining sauce.
    Serves 4.
