Blueberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen blueberries, thawed
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Drain blueberries, reserving juice.
    Combine juice, water, cornstarch and sugar in a medium saucepan.
    Cook about 5 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally until thick and bubbly.
    Add blueberries, cover and cook 5 minutes.
    Stir in lemon juice.
    Serve over pancakes, waffles or French toast.
    Yields 2 1/2 cups.
