Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 gal. medium size sliced and peeled cucumbers
2 large onions, sliced
1 qt. white vinegar
3 c. white sugar
1/4 c. canning salt
1 Tbsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. turmeric
Preparation

Place sliced cucumbers and onions in a large bowl.
Heat vinegar, sugar and spices to boiling.
Lower heat and let simmer 5 minutes.
Pour liquid mixture over cucumbers and onions.
Let cool.
