Hot Dog Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 beef bouillon cube
    2 bay leaves
    3 c. potatoes, cut in 1/4-inch slices
    4 carrots, cut in strips
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    1 lb. hot dogs, cut in 1-inch pieces
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put first three ingredients and 1 cup water in 3-quart pot. Bring to a boil and add potato and carrots.
    Cover and let simmer 15 minutes.
    Add peas and hot dogs.
    Cover and simmer about 6 minutes longer.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Remove bay leaves and serve.
    Yields 6 servings.
