Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 bags (16 oz.) hash brown potatoes
    3 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 large containers sour cream
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
    green and/or white onions
    green pepper (if desired)
    salt and pepper
    garlic cloves (if desired)
Preparation
    Cook for 2 hours, first hour with foil.
