Aunt Annie Bailey'S Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. cocoa or chocolate
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and cocoa.
Add beaten egg yolks and then butter.
Cook until thick.
Pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites with 2 tablespoons sugar.
Spread over pie and brown.
