Syrian Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. rice, rinsed
1 c. orzo, Rosa Marina
2 Tbsp. butter
water
Preparation

Fry orzo in butter until it is lightly browned.
Add rice; fry a little longer, until rice is glazed.
Add cold water to one inch over rice.
Cook to a slow boil, put lid on and simmer on very low flame.
Gently fold rice over and cook a little longer until rice is cooked.
Serves 6.
