Taco Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey, browned
1 head iceberg lettuce, drained
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1 c. tomato sauce
1 diced onion
1/2 tsp. each: chili powder and ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp. hot sauce
1 c. plain yogurt (optional)
4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
8 taco shells
Preparation
-
Brown turkey meat.
Add tomato sauce, onion, spices and hot sauce.
Place in tacos and add lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Equals 4 proteins, 1 bread, 2 3/4 vegetables and 1/4 milk.
