Caesar Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1/4 c. salad oil
    2 1/2 c. (1/4-inch) bread cubes, toasted
    2 qt. crisp chilled salad *
    1/2 c. salad oil
    black pepper, freshly ground
    salt to taste
    1 raw or coddled egg **
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 (3 oz.) wedge Blue or Roquefort cheese, crumbled
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    *Salad may be a head of lettuce, watercress, bibb lettuce, endive or romaine.
