St. Patrick'S Day Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. lime gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
    1 (12 oz.) bottle 7-Up
    2 c. marshmallows
    4 bananas, cubed
    1 c. Cool Whip
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
    grated cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in water.
    Add pineapple.
    Cool until syrupy. Then add 7-Up, marshmallows and bananas and let set in 9 x 13-inch glass pan.
    Mix butter, sugar, flour and pineapple juice.
    Cook until thick and let cool.
    Fold Cool Whip into mixture.
    When gelatin is firm, spread topping over it.
    Grated cheese may be sprinkled on, if desired.
