Hot Fudge Sundae Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    chocolate sauce
Preparation
    Melt butter in microwave on High for 1 minute.
    Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, pecans and butter, mixing well.
    Press half of crumb mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Spread ice cream evenly over crust.
    Press remaining crumb mixture over ice cream. Cover and freeze until firm.
    To serve, cut into squares and top each with chocolate sauce.
    Yields 15 servings.
