Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. beef cubes
    soup bones
    1 cabbage
    1 medium onion
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Place beef cubes and soup bones in a 4 to 6-quart pot and cover with water.
    Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and cook at a slow boil for 1 hour to make beef stock.
    Then cut up and add cabbage, then add diced onion, tomatoes and tomato sauce, salt and sugar.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover.
    Reduce heat and cook at a slow boil for 2 hours.
