Corn Loaves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour, plain
    1 c. cornmeal
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. oil
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 (11 oz.) can Mexican-style corn, well drained
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
    2 tsp. finely chopped jalapenos
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Spray mini-loaf pans with nonstick spray. In medium bowl, combine first 5 ingredients.
    Stir in milk, oil and egg; beat until smooth.
    Fold in corn, chilies and jalapenos and pour batter into prepared pans.
    Bake 15 minutes or until browned. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans.
    Makes 6 loaves.
