Quick Crisp Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. cucumbers
    1/2 c. lime
    water
    7 c. sugar
    5 c. vinegar
    1/2 box pickling spices, tied in a bag
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers into a stone crock or jar.
    Sprinkle with lime and add enough water to cover.
    Allow to sit overnight.
    The next morning, rinse cucumbers several times in cold water.
    Combine sugar, vinegar and pickling spices in a large container.
    Add cucumbers and cook until pickles are crystal clear.
    Pour into hot jars and seal.
    Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes.
