French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large, thinly sliced onions
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    2 Tbsp. instant beef bouillon or 6 bouillon cubes
    4 c. hot water
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 slices toasted French bread
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook onions in butter until lightly browned.
    In kettle, combine browned onions in butter with bouillon, water, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
    Cover and cook on low heat 4 hours.
    Top each bowl with toasted French bread, sprinkled with cheese.
    Makes 4 servings.
    Recipe may be doubled, kept hot and served from slow cooker.
