Strawberry Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 large pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed, reserve juice
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    3 bananas, mashed
    1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
    Stir in strawberries and juice.
    Add pineapple, bananas and nuts.
    Stir until well mixed. Pour half of mixture into a one-quart mold and chill for 20 minutes.
    Spread sour cream over chilled mixture and top with remaining jello mixture.
    Chill several hours until firm.
