Marinated Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium cabbage
1 large onion
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. salad or vegetable oil
4 medium carrots
2/3 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
Preparation

Combine sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and celery seed.
Place over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Stir until sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.
Shred cabbage, onion and carrots.
Pour liquid over vegetable mixture.
Add mayonnaise and stir well.
