Mandarin Orange Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans mandarin oranges
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 large pkg. orange Jell-O
    16 oz. frozen orange juice
    1 small pkg. lemon pie filling (not instant)
    1 c. whipped cream
Preparation
    Drain oranges and pineapple, saving liquid.
    Add enough hot water to liquid to make 2 1/2 cups of liquid.
    Heat and dissolve jello in
    the juice.
    Add frozen orange juice, undiluted, and when almost set, add fruit, saving a few orange segments.
    Pour into a ring Jell-O mold or a 9 x 12-inch pan.
