Low Cholesterol Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. low-fat buttermilk
egg substitute equivalent to 2 eggs
Preparation

Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
Mix all ingredients; beat vigorously 30 seconds.
Spray pan with nonstick cooking spray (round pan, 9 x 1 1/2-inches or square pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inches or 10-inch ovenproof skillet).
Bake until golden brown, 25 minutes.
Makes 9 to 12 servings.
